Video Shield Monitoring
Proactive video monitoring that helps stop loss before it happens.
Alert 360 Video Shield adds trained monitoring professionals, real-time event review, and verified response to your existing camera system.

Who's Watching Your Cameras?
Turn passive camera footage into active protection.
Video Shield helps homes, businesses, and commercial facilities respond faster by watching key areas in real time and escalating suspicious activity when it matters.
- Video monitoring professionals review triggered camera events from Alert 360's U.S.-based monitoring center.
- Suspicious activity can be verified and escalated quickly instead of waiting to review footage after a loss.
- Monitoring can complement existing IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and compatible video systems.
- Customers can arm or disarm video monitoring as needed to help reduce unnecessary notifications.
Verified Response
Identify, verify, and respond before damage spreads.
Video Shield can help reduce false alarms, improve response decisions, and support after-hours dispatch when monitored cameras detect suspicious activity.
- Trigger-based monitoring can review motion, virtual line crossing, intrusion zones, object detection, and other active events.
- Openings and closings can be monitored for better awareness around business schedules.
- After-hours alarm signals from actively monitored cameras can be escalated when a verified response is needed.
Choose the video monitoring layer that fits your site.
Video Shield pairs AI-enhanced camera events with trained monitoring professionals, live event review, and compatible existing video infrastructure.
Video Shield Monitoring
Trained monitoring professionals review triggered video events so suspicious activity can be identified and addressed faster.
Live Event Review
When compatible cameras or analytics generate an event, trained monitoring professionals can review the video, use talk-down where available, notify contacts, or escalate to authorities according to the site plan.
Camera Integration
Video Shield can work with compatible existing IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and many common video manufacturers.
Built For Higher-Risk Spaces
Extra visibility for property, inventory, vehicles, and people.
Video Shield is designed for locations where after-hours awareness, theft deterrence, and faster response can make a measurable difference.
- Support for lumber yards, car dealerships, construction sites, storage facilities, retail, schools, multi-family properties, and more.
- A practical option when on-site security staffing is limited, stretched thin, or too costly for the coverage needed.
- A stronger record of real-time events, reviewed footage, and response details for owners and operators.
Why It Works
More than recording. More useful than another camera alone.
Your cameras become more valuable when someone can review the right activity, verify what happened, and escalate the next step.
Proactive Asset Protection
Key areas can be watched for suspicious activity before a break-in, theft, or property damage goes unnoticed.
Immediate Event Awareness
Real-time notifications and monitoring center review help reduce the delay between detection and response.
Reduced False Dispatches
Video analysis helps separate actionable events from false alarms so teams can respond with more confidence.
Useful Reporting
Regular reporting gives owners and operators a clearer picture of activity, incidents, and response history.
Video Shield Response
Detect the event, review the video, escalate the right response.
Trigger Detected
Motion, line crossing, intrusion zones, or other video events call attention to activity on the property.
Video Reviewed
Alert 360 monitoring professionals review the event and look for suspicious or actionable behavior.
Next Step Escalated
The event can be documented, reported, and escalated for dispatch or owner notification when needed.
FAQs
Have questions? We're here to help.
Find quick answers about Video Shield equipment, installation, camera access, monitoring schedules, lighting, and U.S.-based monitoring.
Do I have to purchase the Video Shield products?
For Mobile Surveillance Units and Powered Surveillance Units, Alert 360 provides the hardware at no additional cost with a monthly fee for management, maintenance, and monitoring. For other Video Shield services, we can often use your existing cameras or provide high-quality cameras at competitive prices.
How long does it take to install a Video Shield system?
Mobile Surveillance Trailers can usually be deployed and operational on site within 1-2 days. More permanent Powered Surveillance Units can typically be installed in 2-5 days, depending on site requirements.
Can I view the cameras myself?
Yes. After installation, we can help set up access from a connected phone, tablet, or desktop so you can view your surveillance feed when you need to.
Can I customize the monitoring times for my cameras?
Absolutely. We can configure a monitoring schedule during installation, and you can also have the flexibility to arm or disarm camera monitoring on demand.
Do the systems require lighting?
Additional lighting can help, but our cameras use advanced back-illuminated CMOS sensors designed to capture clear images in low-light conditions. After installation, we assess image quality and make adjustments for optimal performance.
Are my cameras monitored in the United States?
Yes. Alert 360 proudly owns and operates a TMA Five Diamond and UL Approved Video Monitoring Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
What other security services do you offer?
Alert 360 provides a broad range of security services to help protect your site, including monitored burglar alarms, access control, environmental monitoring, and more. In Los Angeles, armed and unarmed guard services are also available through our ACS Security subsidiary.
